We had a very delightful, relaxing weekend during which the children enjoyed a special trip to town to buy bikes, and also did a little garage sale shopping. Jem built his garbage truck Lego set with Daddy on Sunday evening.

Unit Study
This morning we officially started our Garbage Unit Study! We read a book about Garbage Collectors, cut out different items from a magazine and organised them into piles; Garbage, Hazardous Waste, Recycle, Compost and Re-Use. I plan to buy a poster paper for Jem tomorrow as he wants to paint with his new paints, so we will do a poster all about garbage.

Math
Today for math we practiced counting to 20 again, Jem has a hard time after 14 but he is trying. The problem with that is he learnt wrong a few months ago and I didn't bother to correct him, so we are having to retrain his brain. He also did two math problems; 10+10= and 15-5=

Reading/Writing
For reading/writing, we did a quick over view of his sight word flash cards.

Nature Study/ Physical Education
Outside we discovered a new bean plant poking itself through the soil, and Jem helped Vienna learn to ride a bike.

Bible
We continue to go through the Children's Bible and pray together as a family nearly every evening.
